**This does NOT include the required PIT PASS. Everyone riding or in your party(even if not riding) is required to have a PIT PASS. You will be responsible for purchasing the one day PIT PASS for any one in your party. Pit Passes are an additional $15 and will be paid directly to Sandy Hook Speedway.

Tech Requirements;
Throttle must return freely
Working engine kill switch
Bar ends to protect throttle
Levers must have ball ends unless protected by hand guards
Working front brakes
Tires and rims in good condition
No turn signals or mirrors
Headlights taped or removed
No tail light or tail light brackets
Oil drain plug and fill cap safety wired
Exhaust pipe securely mounted
Master link clip safety wired or secured with Permatex, etc.
NO ANTI-FREEZE -- Water wetter, Engine Ice, or Liquid Performance only.
No sharp edges that would be hazardous to your fellow competitors or yourself

Coolant and Fuel Catch Cans – This can be a combined catch tank for both the engine coolant and fuel or two separate systems. Here are the official guidelines for the catch cans.
Deemed Unacceptable:
No Red Bull Type Cans or any other type of Soda Can of any type.
No flimsy and/or weak container of any kind/any material.
No container that would allow a significant amount of fuel to be spilled in a crash.
Acceptable Guidelines:
All hosing associated with the fuel system must be in good condition, of a proper material, and fastened securely. All fuel overflow hoses must terminate in the catch can. One-way breather vents on the gas cap will be permitted.
Your container should be able to withstand a substantial impact, be of a quality material, large enough and able to contain all of its contents in the event of a crash, be heat-resistant and mounted securely to your bike. Preferably in a location that would reduce and/or eliminate it's exposure to damage.

A one-way valve must be functional on dirt bike style gas caps.
Finally...NO KNOBBIES! Only road tread tires are acceptable.
Any motorcycle not meeting these Technical Requirements WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK. Please make sure you understand all of the requirements prior to the event. Technical questions can be asked at anytime. Please do not expect the necessary items or required service to be available at the track.
Safety Equipment
a) Fire extinguishers must be present in every competitor’s pit area.
b) All race vehicles & competitor safety equipment will be required to pass safety technical inspection before entering the track.
c) All riders must have full coverage protection. Full leather racing suits are recommended, but complete (jacket and pants) leather or textile protective gear is acceptable. Full motocross/offroad gear is also acceptable (full long sleeve & long pants) but required to have; chest/back protector, elbow/forearm protection and knee protection.
d) All riders are suggested to wear chest protector, back protector or protective vest of some kind.
e) Helmets must be full-face, in good condition with minimum SNELL 2015, ECE 22.05 or newer and DOT certification.
f) Face shield must be worn in down position if present or proper eye protection must be worn. Sunglasses are not considered acceptable eye protection. No modular style helmets!
g) Racers must wear full fingered gloves
h) Well-fitting over the ankle boots must be worn and should be secure in a way that they will not easily fall off. Sneakers or tennis shoes are not allowed.
